SAN ANTONIO - Emily Richardson had a team-high 11 kills on .556 hitting, guiding the TexAnns to their first 20-win season since 1991 after sweeping St. Mary's (25-19, 25-22, 25-20) at Bill Greehey Arena on Saturday.

The TexAnns (20-8) hit .282 as a team while allowing the Rattlers (8-18) to just a .153 hitting performance. It was just the third win in school history over St. Mary's. The TexAnns finished the season 11-6 against non-conference opponents.

Allison Hill added 10 kills and Shea McBrearty recorded a team-high 13 digs for the TexAnns in the victory. Jessie Hartman led the offense with 22 assists and Danielle Perkins followed with 16.

St. Mary's Kirsten Chapman led the match with 12 kills on the afternoon while teammate Valerie Teter posted a match-high 15 digs.

The TexAnns return to Lone Star Conference competition Thursday on the road against Eastern New Mexico. First serve is set for 8 p.m. (CST) at Greyhound Arena in Portales, N.M.
