A slew of personal records and season bests led Stephenville to first and third place with its two teams in tournament play at Squaw Valley Golf Course in Glen Rose Monday.
Elijah Martin a season best and personal record round of 81 to pace the Yellow Jackets' "A" team to a first place team score of 339.
Preston Brown's season-best round of 85 helped, as did the 86 and 87 posted by Hunter Bernays and Tristan Dobson, respectively.
"This is now the best our guys have scored in years," said head coach Alan Thorpe, repeating his statement from a week earlier as the Jackets continue to improve. "It's getting better every week."
Jayse Snead moved up to the "A" team and shot a round of 92 that did not count toward the team card.
Stephenville also entered a "B" team that came away with a third-place finish, thanks to rounds of 84, 85 and 86 by Logan Levisay, Dylan Traweek and Brayden Coverdale.
Levisay PR'd with his 84, Traweek had the 85 and Coverdale's 86 was his best score of the season. Tyler Isham completed the team score of 358 with a round of 103, while Jared Slemmons finished in 105 strokes.
Chris Elizondo shot a round of 99 and Josh Powell took 108 strokes as individual medalists.
