A goal by Daniel Taylor and Luis Garcia's best match as a Yellow Jacket lifted Stephenville to a 1-0 upset of district leader San Angelo Lake View at Lem Brock Field Tuesday.

Garcia had the assist on Taylor's goal, which paired with a shutout defensive effort to give the Jackets their third straight win.

"(Garcia) probably had his best match of the season," said Stephenville head coach Ramsay Wright. "Players like him stepping up is why we've gone from a five-game losing streak to a three-game win streak.

"We still have some work to do (in the district standings) because of the big hole we dug ourselves the first half of district play, but we're playing better," Wright added.

Changes have been made to the remainder of Stephenville's regular-season schedule. The Jackets visit Brownwood at 7 p.m. tonight, following a 5 p.m. JV match, as originally scheduled. After that, however, Stephenville now hosts Abilene Wylie at 4 (JV) and 6 p.m. Monday before visiting Lake View at noon and 2 p.m. next Friday.
