Huckabay (1-0) got its high school girls basketball season off to a positive start Tuesday night with a 60-13 thrashing of Iredell.

The Lady Indians, led by 20 points from Sarah Fulfer, ran away early with a 17-0 advantage in the opening period that was stretched to 30-1 by halftime.

Iredell didnít connect on a shot from the field until the third quarter.

Joining Fulfer in double figures for the Lady Indians were Maria Morales with 16 points and Kyla Stewart 14. Camille Copeland added six and Morgan Stegall chipped in with four.
