E-T Staff Reportv The Stephenville Honeybees have one thing on their mind entering Friday's District 8-4A Cross Country Meet in Cleburne - championship.

Noone seems to be blaming the Bees for feeling that way since they enter the meet with the momentum of three straight team titles on the high school running circuit.

Stephenville is led by Allison Woerner, widely considered a blue chip college prospect. Behind Woerner, Vanessa Elizondo has supplied the Bees with a steady No. 2 runner all season. SHS will also benefit from the return of freshman Emilie Woerner, who was successful early on, but has not competed in recent action.

Cowley won the district title last year, holding off Cleburne by four points and Stephenville by nine.

Running begins at 10 a.m.
