Stephenville Yellow Jackets Summer Fun Football Camp
The camp will be from May 31 through June 2 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the ages 7 - 10 and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for ages 11-15.
Early registration before May 11 will cost $60. The fee is $65 after that date.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Stephenville High School Athletic Department.
Lipan Lady Indians Basketball Camp
The second annual girls basketball camp is set to run from May 29 to June 1 and costs $45. Girls entering second through eighth grade will attend the early session (9 a.m. to noon), while ninth through twelfth graders will practice from 1-4 p.m. The morning session will be led by Lipan coach Troy Humphrey, while Huckabay boys coach Dean Edwards will run the afternoon session.

The Fitness Center Youth Conditioning Camp
The Fitness Center is holding two youth conditioning camps this summer, from June 11-July 6 and July 9-Aug. 3, for boys and girls over the age of 12. The cost is $75.
Camp will meet four days per week (each weekday but Wednesday) for an hour and a half. Campers will work on developing muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular endurance, speed, agility, coordination, balance, flexibility, range of motion and body awareness.

Lance Drake’s Summer Tennis Training
Tarleton State tennis coach Lance Drake is running two summer camps, the first from June 4-7 and 11-14 and the second spanning June 11-14, 18-21 and 25-28, for youth players of varying skills. Groups include the mighty mites (ages 4-6), rookies (ages 7-12), big shots (ages 13-17), futures (ages 9-17) and elite (seventh grade through high school).

Stephenville Honeybees Basketball Camp
The annual camp will be held May 29-June 1 at Henderson Junior High. Girls in grades 6-9 will go from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by a 1-4 p.m. session for girls in grades one through five. The cost is $50, and campers will receive a shirt.
There is a May 25 mail-in registration deadline, but walk-ins are welcome.
Camp activities include fundamentals, defense, 1 on 1, 3 on 3, 5 on 5 and competition drills.
Dublin’s Lady Lion camp is open to players in grades four through nine, and will run from 1-4 p.m. May 29-June 1.

Honeybee Volleyball Camp
Stephenville’s volleyball camp will be held June 4-7 at Henderson Junior High. The first session, for players in grades seven through nine, runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The second, for players in grades four through six, is from 1-3 p.m.
Cost is $50 per player for grades 7, 8 and 9 and $35 per player for grades 4, 5, and 6. Cost includes camp shirt and awards.
Lonn Reisman’s Texan Basketball Camp
Tarleton State’s basketball camp will be held June 10-14 and July 8-12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for players in fourth grade and older.

TexAnn Fundamentals Camp

Tarleton Football “Skills Position Camp”

The Olympic great hosts team and individual camps at Henderson Junior High July 26-28.
Team camp (grades 8-12) is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $170 per player. Individual basic skills camp (all ages) is from 2-6 p.m. Cost is $150 per player. Cost includes camp shirt and autographed picture of Crockett, who was a member of the 1980 and 1984 U.S. Olympic volleyball teams and silver medal winner. SportReach Christian Sports Camp
The camp, which is open students in grades one through three, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 11-15 at the Stephenville Recreation Hall and is hosted by Cross Timbers Church of Christ.
SportReach is an organization made up of university-level Christian athletes who partner with churches across the nation. Campers participate in an introduction to football, soccer, basketball and cheerleading. Cost is $25 and includes water bottle and shirt. A $5 discount will be given for each additional sibling.
A second session, for students in grades 4-6, will allow campers to select a sport to focus on. It runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 13-15.

Stephenville Soccer Camp
Camp will be held June 11-14 at the Stephenville Soccer Association fields. Sessions for players under 8 run from 6-7:30 p.m., while players under 12 go from 6-8 p.m. Goalie camp, for players older than 10, is from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday only.
The cost for younger players and goalies is $35. The cost for older players is $50. No U-14s will be taken this year.
An awards ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday. Children will need to wear shin guards, and bring water and a ball each night.

Hico’s sixth annual series of camps for boys and girls begins June 18-21 for incoming 4th-6th graders (8:30 a.m. - noon) and 7th-9th graders (1-4:30 p.m.). Camp for 1st-3rd graders runs from 8:30 a.m. - noon June 25-28. The fee is $50 per athlete; for two children, the cost is $90 and for three, $100. Only 60 students will be taken for each session. Honeybee Softball Fundamental Camp
Area girls will get a chance to learn the basics of softball June 11-14 at McCleskey Field in the Stephenville City Park. Camp is from 8-10:30 a.m. for incoming 3rd-5th graders, and from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. for incoming 6th-9th graders. The cost is $50, and campers should bring a glove and bat.
