Behind the strong play of all-tournament selections Hunter Turner, Jonathan Pringle and Jesse Bamber, Dublin placed second in the boys division of the Dublin Dr Pepper Tournament last weekend.

The Lions rolled past Breckenridge in the semifinals 65-43 with Turner scoring 17 points. Aaron Callaway added 13 while Pringle netted 10.

Jim Ned claimed the championship with a 61-49 defeat of Dublin despite 13 points from Turner, 10 from Callaway and nine by Bamber.

Dublin had previously whipped Meridian 71-32 in the opener with Turner scoring 16 and Pringle tallying 13, including 11 in the opening half.

Dublin continues its home stand with a battle against Millsap tonight. The action begins with 9th grade play at 5 p.m.
