J.B. Mauney scored 93.75 on Boyd/Floyd’s Black Pearl to win the Championship Round in Las Vegas last weekend. J.B. also collected $30,000 for his successful eight-second ride. Boyd/Floyd Bull Company is an Erath County venture with several top ranked bulls and a pasture full of prospects.

Built Ford Tough Series point standings gave the World Championship to Kody Lostroh with 16,640 points to J.B.’s 16,046. This is the second year in a row when this bull rider came in with a close second. There’s always next year!

World Champion tie-down roper, Cody Ohl has also invested in bucking bull stock and one of his athletic animals won the futurity in Las Vegas adding $65,000 to Cody’s bank account. Cody will be in Las Vegas again next month when he will compete in tie-down roping at the Wrangler National Rodeo Finals.
