INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Tarleton track and field teams had six members invited to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships to be conducted on May 22-24 in Walnut, Calif.

Garrett Thomas, a sophomore from Gail, has the ninth-best time in the nation in the 110-meter hurdles.

Tarleton’s 4x100-meter relay team is tied for the 12th best time in nation heading into the championship meet. Cameron Wilson, a sophomore from Glenn Height; Theo Miller, a senior from Everman; Roderick Smith, a freshman from Mesquite; and Tremaine Wright, a junior from Everman, comprise the team that turned in a 40.83.

Chayden Feist, a junior from Comanche, qualified for the national meet in the pole vault after clearing 5.01 meters. He is No. 12 in the nation heading into the meet.

The event is being hosted by Mount San Antonio College.
