After a towering 60-29 victory over Lingleville last week, the Lady Lions of Dublin fell to Strawn, 56-27, Tuesday night, leaving them with a 1-1 mark.

Dublin was able to utilize its size advantage and dominate the boards against Lingleville, but the ball was falling in Strawn’s favor on Tuesday.

Sophomore Kim Spivey gathered in 19 boards against Lingleville then tallied nine in the loss to Strawn.

Dublin’s biggest problem Tuesday was turnovers, as the Lady Lions gave up the ball 39 times.

Leading tDublin in scoring was Wakely Brown with six, followed by Linda Volleman with 5. Kim Ramos, Shelby Thiebaud, and Kim Spivey each added 4.

Dublin looks to return to the win column on Friday in Tolar.
