AUSTIN - The No. 13 Tarleton TexAnn golf team remains in the lead after day two of the NCAA Division II West Regional being held at The Golf Club at Circle C in Austin.

The TexAnns, who shot a 307 Monday, fell just one stroke in their round Tuesday to record a 308 on day two.

Tarleton leads the tournament by four strokes (615) over Northeastern State (619). Western Washington moved up one spot to third (622) Tuesday after moving past host and No. 11 St. Edward’s (623). Central Oklahoma (626) and Western New Mexico (643) round out the leader board.

The TexAnns are led by Shraddhanjali Singh, who leads all players in the tournament with a 142 two-day total. She shot a two-under par 70 Monday and an even par 70 on Tuesday.

Kerri Self shot a one-over par 73 Tuesday to better her 80 from Monday while teammate Alesha Hurt, who shot a 74 Monday, dropped to plus-15 Tuesday for an 87. Lauren Martinez improved five strokes from an 83 Monday to a 79 Tuesday and Jodi Neal went from a plus-16 to plus-12 on day two.

The regional tournament will conclude Wednesday with the last 18 holes of the tournament. The participants will begin at 8 a.m. Live results can be accessed by visiting www.golfstat.com.
