Tarleton State (20-7, 15-6) picked up its fifth pitching honor and first hitting award when the Lone Star Conference announced its weekly baseball players of the week Monday.
Senior Zane Hensley shared hitter of the week honors after hitting .583 and driving in six runs during Tarleton's three-game sweep of Angelo State in conference play.
Hensley, a native of Florence, was 7-for-12 with 6 RBIs, two doubles and a home run in the series.
Ryan Salt became the third Texan to be named pitcher of the week, joining three-time winner Miguel Ramirez and one-time honoree Ryan Turner.
Salt, a senior from Colorado Springs, Colo., tossed a complete-game, two-hit shutout in Saturday's 11-1 victory over ASU.
