The Southwest Reined Cow Horse Association’s annual Fall Classic marked another successful show at the Lone Star Arena. This event showcased some of the top reined cow horses and riders in the world at the “Cowboy Capital” of the world.  The Futurity and Derby brought in strong numbers and the association saw an increase in participation in the bridle classes. By the end of the competition, “million dollar” rider, Todd Crawford, had won the Open Futurity riding “Shiney Senorita.” Amy Leonard was the Non Pro Futurity Champion, riding “Wild Card Jackson”. The Open Derby made for a fierce competition as well, but ultimately Robbie Boyce won the event, riding “HA Gray Freckles.” Karla Rodgers was the Non Pro Derby Champion, riding “BJ Chula Mula.”
