Thatís the case for not just one of the playoff-bound soccer teams from Stephenville High School, but both.
The Yellow Jackets and Honeybees both begin the Class 4A, Region I playoffs with bi-district action tonight against representatives from District 7-4A.
The Jackets and Bees, both second-place finishers in 8-4A, are taking on the No. 3 seeds from the neighboring district.
For the Honeybees, that means a 6 p.m. kickoff against Azle, a team that enters the post-season on a three-game win streak by the combined score of 10-1.
The winner battles Keller Fossil Ridge, champion of District 5-4A.
The Yellow Jackets battle Fort Worth Arlington Heights, an experienced playoff team that advanced to the Region I finals in 2007. Arlington Heights defeated 7-4A champ Aledo, 4-1, after taking down FW Northside in a shoot out to win its last two contests of the regular season. Kickoff is 8 p.m. at Elks Stadium, following the girls match. The boys winner meets 5-4A champ Denton Guyer in the area round.
