GHS was riding a 12-game when streak at the end of the regular season, but had it snapped by state-ranked Red Oak in a practice match last Friday, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

Kayle Fifer was everywhere for Guyer in the loss, posting double-figures in three categories with 16 digs, 14 assists and 10 kills.

Alyssa Hanley landed 13 kills while collecting 13 digs, and Erin Garvey led in kills with 15. Garvey also got defensive with four digs.

Against Fort Worth Southwest in the bi-district round, Stephenville jumped out to quick leads in games one and two, then broke game three open late, 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

The Bees were led by MaKayla Elliott with 10 kills and an ace. Sophomore Christina Murphy added eight kills and an ace, while Brianna Bledsoe, also a sophomore, collected 16 assists, 7 digs, and also added a single ace.

The winner of tonight's match will advance to the Region I quarterfinals to face the winner of the Fort Worth Arlington Heights vs. Denton Ryan match, which takes place at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Saginaw.
