Dublin (4-3) forced 26 turnovers and limited Eastland to only 26 field goal attempts Tuesday night, knocking off the Lady Mavericks 30-18 in a non-district girls basketball game at Roy and Lynn Neff Gym.
"We put a little pressure on their guards and forced a lot of turnovers," Dublin head coach Randy Parks said. "They weren't necessarily turnovers that got us out in transition, but they helped us limit their opporunities."
The Lady Lions led 16-9 at the half and were ahead by double digits most of the second half.
Kim Spivey led Dublin in scoring with nine while Wakely Brown tallied eight and Lauren Duncan netted seven.
Dublin returns to action Tuesday at home against top-ranked Class A juggernaut Goldthwaite.
