After going 3-1 to begin the season, Tarleton remains at No. 18 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 poll which was released Monday afternoon.

This is the second week of national voting and Tarleton has been No. 18 in each of the first two polls. They are the only Lone Star Conference team ranked in the top 25, but Angelo State is the top vote-getter sitting outside the top 25 with 137 votes. Tarleton has been ranked in every poll since the final ranking of the 2016 season.

Tarleton went 3-1 at home to open the season last weekend, earning victories in straight sets against Black Hills State, Harding, and Oklahoma Baptist. Tarleton fell in the final match of the tournament to then-No. 16 Central Oklahoma, who is No. 19 in this week's ranking.

Tarleton will head to St. George, Utah for four games at the Dixie State Invitational this weekend, beginning Thursday at 8 p.m. CT. The TexAnns will then play UC-Colorado Springs on Friday before wrapping up the tournament with matches against Adams State and Arkansas-Fort Smith on Saturday.
