Stephenville High School’s boys and girls golf teams competed Monday at Squaw Valley Golf Course in Glen Rose in a tournament hosted by Iredell.

The Honeybees took second place in the girls division with a team score of 394, while the Yellow Jackets were third among the boys teams with 341.

Allee Mainord led the Honeybees with a 93, followed by Maycee Decker, 96; Alexis Graham, 99; Kylie Roberts, 105; Taylor Harpole, 106; Maddi Grimes, 107; and Maddie Day, 116.

The low score for the SHS boys was 81, by Grayson Traweek. He was followed by Rosser Orr, 85; Hunter Rudloff, 87; Kendall Roberts, 88; Justin Cockerall, 93; and Foster Brumbaugh, 97.

Last Friday and Saturday, Honeybees Kylie Roberts and Alexis Graham competed as individual medalists in a “regional preview” tournament at Shadow Hills Golf Course in Lubbock.

Graham, a sophomore, shot 98 Friday and 104 Saturday for a 202 total. Roberts, a freshman, shot 107-98 for a 205.
