FRISCO - Tarleton men's basketball had three players recognized with individual awards at the annual Lone Star Conference awards banquet.

Corinthian Ramsey and Josh Hawley were both selected second-team All-LSC, while Hawley was also named the LSC all-defensive team. Deshawn Riddick was selected as a third-team All-LSC guard.

In his first year with the Texans, Ramsey led the team in scoring with 18.7 points per game and averaged 4.0 assists. Ramsey shot 41 percent from the floor and 83 percent at the free throw line. Ramsey led the team with 73 3-pointers made and shot 34 percent behind the arc. Ramsey scored in double figures 25 times, had 11 20-point games and also had a 40-and 35-point game to open the season. The junior guard had his first career double-double with 16 points and 16 assists on Feb. 17 against Northern New Mexico. Ramsey was selected as LSC Offensive Player of the Week earlier this season.

Josh Hawley was the leading rebounder for the Texans, averaging 9.2 boards to go with 13.8 points. Hawley also led the LSC with 51 blocks on the year and averaged 1.4 steals per game. Hawley was the only sophomore on the LSC all-conference teams (first, second, or third). Hawley shot 51.8 percent from the floor and 34.7 on 3-pointers this season. He had 10 double-doubles, including a career-high 17-rebound performance against Cameron. Hawley blocked four shots in a game four times and had three or more steals in a game four times, including a 5-steal game against Northern New Mexico. Hawley was a 3-time LSC Defensive Player of the Week winner.

In his final season with the Texans, Deshawn Riddick led the team in assists with 4.2 and averaged 12.4 points per game. Riddick has 355 career assists and just recently moved into fourth place on the Tarleton all-time assists list. Riddick shot 45 percent from the floor as has made 64 3-pointers this season at a 50-percent rate (64-of-128). Riddick scored in double figures 18 times this season, including three 20-point games. Riddick had his first career double-double with 14 points and 11 assists in a win over No. 12 UT Permian Basin. Riddick also was named LSC Defensive Player of the Week earlier this season.

Tarleton is the No. 3 seed in the Lone Star Conference tournament and will take on No. 6 Cameron on Friday, March 2, at 12 p.m. at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco.
