Former Stephenville football standout Jarrett Stidham, now leading nationally ranked Auburn, is one of five finalists for the annual Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award.
The 6-3, 214-pound sophomore passed for 2,827 yards and 17 touchdowns this season. He completed 66.7 percent of his 327 passes with just four interceptions.
Only NCAA Division I college football players who were born in Texas, attended a Texas high school or attended a Texas junior college or university are eligible for the Tyler Rose Award. It was established in 2012 by the Tyler Chamber of Commerce.
