Tarleton's Jacob Morales has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches 2016-17 Honors Court, the committee announced on Tuesday.

Morales, a four-year member of the Tarleton men's basketball team, was selected to the NABC Honors Court last season as well. Morales graduated in the spring semester with a degree in kinesiology. Morales played in a career-high 21 games as a senior.

In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The student-athlete has to academically be a junior or senior with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2016-17 academic year.
