GRANBURY – Tim Roberts, 67, passed away October 18, 2009. He was a ranch foreman on the Mitchell Ranch. Tim was known all over the state as a master farrier and horseman. He was a PRCA rodeo cowboy over a span of three decades. Tim was a longtime resident of Sonora as well as Stephenville where he will leave behind a host of friends and loved ones.
Tim was preceded in death by his daughter Brand Lea Roberts and his parents John William and Merle Belle Roberts.
He is survived by six children, Robin Sahr and Pecos Roberts of Granbury, Dustin Creek of Austin, Starlin Chadwick of College Station and two step-daughters, Katie Russell and Texie Lane; two grandchildren, Jessi and Brady Wesson of Granbury, and brother, Blake Roberts of San Angelo.
There will be a memorial to celebrate Tim's big life on October 31, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Mitchell Ranch just outside of Granbury. For more information, call 817-219-1002.
