Frank Louis Robinson

STEPHENVILLE - Frank Louis Robinson, 88, a State Farm Agency Manager, who retired after 27 years of service, died Thursday, November 19, 2009.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2009, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Emil V. Becker officiating. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 - 6 p. m. today at Lacy Funeral Home.

He was born on November 19, 1921 to the late Ralph and Alice Lillian (Crouch) Robinson in Temple. Frank married Marjorie Dean on April 29, 1945, in Dodge City, KS, and she preceded him in death on June 23, 1996. Frank married Billie Jean Coonrod Sterling on May 21, 1999, in Stephenville.

He attended Victory Bible Baptist Church, and was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. A mentor to many, he was a kind, loving and generous man. Frank traveled extensively throughout the world. The light of his life was his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Robinson of Stephenville, twin daughters, Elizabeth Robinson Ruff and husband Matt of Nashville, TN, and Elaine Robinson Gunter and husband Mike of Gustine; 2 sons, Ralph L. Robinson of Fort Worth, and Dean T. Robinson and wife, Gale of Silsbee; two step-daughters, Lesa Wallace and husband Mark of Justin; Teresa Sterling of San Antonio; and one step-son, Billy Leon Sterling and wife Laurie of Snyder; and 7 grandchildren, Jessica Robinson, Eric Robinson, Stephanie Robinson Curtis, Aaron Ruff, John David Ruff, Rachel Ruff, and Nathan Ruff; 3 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Gideon and Gabriel Ruff; 4 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or the Alzheimers Association.
