KELLER - David "Brack" Brackenridge, 56, died Friday, August 27, 2010, surrounded by friends and family.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Alpine Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Cemetery in Dallas.

Brack was born in Dallas on Christmas Eve in 1953. He was a drummer, biker and, he loved working on his 1971 Chevy truck. He worked as a design layout engineer for JMEG electrical contractors. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the Air Force.

Brack never met a stranger. He was loved for his friendliness, his personality and his joy of life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Merese Brackenridge, and brother Andy White.

Survivors include his wife, Denae of Keller, daughter Alisha Poteete and husband Jason of Vacaville, CA.; grandchildren, Dylan and Harlen Poteete, Conley Ligon of Haltom City and Anthony Ligon of Keller; in-laws, Conley and Myrna Jenkins of Stephenville, Derone and Keith Todd of Houston, Delette and Jim Gazaway, and Davey Steele of Stephenville; special friend and mother of his child, Scherry Brackenridge of Fort Worth.
