STEPHENVILLE - Edward ‘Ed’ Hulse, 56, of Stephenville passed away Friday, November 5, 2010, in Fort Worth.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Werth Mayes and Jeff Andis officiating. Interment will follow at the Indian Creek Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Ed was born on July 23, 1954 to the late Edward and Vida Gardner Hulse. He married Lynn Darby on August 29, 1985 in Stephenville. Ed has resided in Stephenville for the past 25 years after previously living in Missouri. He was a long time employee of Poston Feed Mill. Ed loved the Chuck Wagon and was an all-around Cowboy. In September, he graduated from Auctioneering School completing his life-long dream.
He is survived by his wife Lynn; daughter, Buffy Jane Bass and husband Justin of Pleasant Hill, MO; grandson, Brayden Bass; stepdaughter and husband, Tricia Thompson and Bryan Owen; brother, Harold Hulse and wife Florence of Independence, MO; mother-in-law, Pat Darby, brother-in-law, John Darby and wife Sandy, sister-in-law, Lisa West and husband Johnny; brother-in-law, Jerry Reedy; sister-in-law, Donna Hulse; best friend Norm Caja; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Glenda Reedy; brother, Lowell Hulse; and father-in-law, John Darby.
