Billie Marie Oakley

STEPHENVILLE — Billie Marie Oakley, 77, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at her home in Sweetwater. She was born August 23, 1932, to Jesse Lee and Louollie (Spears) Montgomery. She was formerly from Stephenville and was a cook at Jake and Dorothy’s for over 25 years.

A Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2009, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Townsend from Solid Rock Baptist Church officiating.

Survivors include three daughters: Marsha Triplett of Sweetwater; Teri Jones and husband Edward of Sweetwater; Mary Jean Bradley of Stephenville; one son: Billy Jack Oakley of Abilene; two foster daughters: Carla Spencer of Stephenville, and Lisa Hudson; and one foster son: Paul Kurko. She is also survived by ten grandchildren: James Rhude, A1C Chris Rhude, Danny Hallman and wife, Trisha, Jennifer Forbing, Joby Burn, Jamison Burn, Regan Burn, John Alexander, Sandra Moore and Jere Powell; 14 great-grandchildren: Sara Forbing, Courtney Alexander, Zachery Hallman, Lucas Hallman, Lcpl. William Moore, Cody Chrysatek, Brianna Chrysatek, Amber Reed and husband Mike, Deshea Bravo and husband Michael, Jimmy Powell, Ashley Walton and husband Lanny, and Joshua White; and four great-great-grandchildren and one niece. She was preceded in death by one son, James Wenfred Burn and one brother, Mackey Joe Montgomery.
