STEPHENVILLE - Kacee Roy Bradley, born July 27, 1973 to Roy and Erlene Bradley entered

into eternal rest on November 14, 2010.

Kacee graduated from the Des Moines High School in 1991 and earned a Bachelors of Science Degree from New Mexico State University in the area of animal science in May 1997. He married

his soulmate Heather Duba on Nov. 25, 2003.

Kacee enjoyed the simple cowboy way of life and earned an upstanding reputation as a cattleman in Eastern New Mexico where he maintained the family farm in Tucumcari and was employed by Pickett Industries as Ranch Foreman overseeing ranch productions in Tucumcari and Ft. Sumner. Kacee was a member of the Lesbia Volunteer Fire Department and took that responsibility very seriously. Kacee also had many talents which included wood working, leather craft, musical ear and

barn planning and construction.

He and his wife Heather had recently moved to Stephenville where Kacee was pursuing an independent contracting career in the area of local farm and ranch improvement. He and Heather played an active role in volunteering for Tarleton State University's rodeo program through community service and fundraising opportunities.

Kacee had a zest for life, never meeting a stranger. His thoughtful nature was evident through many cups of coffee and breakfasts he prepared for Heather upon her return from night shifts as a R.N. at Glenrose Hospital. To those closest to him, Kacee was their rock.  He always lent a helping hand or a listening ear. He will be remembered for his unconditional love and dedication to his family and friends, his trustworthy honest nature and his undying devotion to his wife. Kacee will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Duba-Bradley of Stephenville; parents, Roy and Erlene Bradley of Des Moines NM.; grandmother, Betty Ellis of Raton NM; sister, brother-in-law and nephew Kori, Matt and Bowie Eakin of Vernon; sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew, Kelly, Mark, Caitlin and Coy Eakin of Stephenville; mother-in-law, Kathy Duba of Tucumcari; brother-in-law, Jason Duba of Amarillo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Kacee was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leroy Edgar Ellis, maternal aunt,  Lela Kay Horner. father-in-law, David Duba, grandfather-in-law, Robert (PawPaw) Mitchell, and paternal grandparents, Jo and Albert Bradley.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Center Street United Methodist Church of Tucumcari, NM, with Mr. Mike Kuhlman of Canyon officiating.
