DUBLIN - Edwin Lee Logan, 81, a retired postmaster, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at his residence in Dublin.

Edwin was born to Jasper and Lora (Lee) Logan in Bunyan on July 22, 1929. He was united in marraige to Kathleen Marie Sanders on October 21, 1950 in Dublin, and had two daughters.

He was involved in numerous activities, including Gideons International, board member of the Upper Leon Water District, First United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School and the Kermit Lions Club.  He was involved in the Christmas in Action program and jail ministry. He retired as postmaster in Kermit.  

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Saturday at Harrell Memorial Chapel, with burial at the Dublin Liveoak Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Harrell Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Logan of Dublin; daughters and son-in-law, Marsha and Randy Davis of The Woodlands and Marla Logan of Midland; his grandchildren, Melanie Saunders, Jamie Harlan, Laura Werner, Holly Brannon and Mac Musick; great grandchildren, Carter and Eli Saunders; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Dublin or The Gideons International.
