CLEBURNE - Funeral services for Alta Mae Webb, 82, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Hall officiating, assisted by the Rev. John Glover. Burial will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Broadus, LaVirl Pair, Rance Adams, Seth Adams, and Robert L. Webb IV.
Mrs. Webb passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010, in Cleburne. She was born in Baugh, Tennessee, the daughter of Minnie (Bratcher) and James Frank Smith. She married R.L. Webb on July 25, 1946 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Webb was a member of Field Street Baptist Church and co-founder of the Johnson County Art Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, R.L. Webb; granddaughter, Hope Ann Webb; brother, Lawson Smith; and sisters, Lucille McPeters and Lawsie Smith
Alta Mae Webb is survived by her son, Robert L. Webb III of Cleburne; daughters, Barbara Broadus and husband, Gary, of Paluxy and Lisa Pair and husband, LaVirl, of Morgan Mill; brother, Frank Smith and wife, Joyce, of Cleburne; very special niece, Jan O’Boyle; grandsons, Robert Lee Webb IV, Blake Adams and wife, Sarah, Rance Adams and wife, Shanna, Seth Adams, and Chad Broadus and wife, Suzanne; granddaughters, Tammy Parish and husband, Mark, Mattie Reisman and husband, Chris, and Chasidy Pettigrew and husband, Robbie; great grandchildren, Paislee Brooks, Rush Reisman, Trinity Pettigrew, Trey Pettigrew, Marysa Pettigrew, Rhett Parish, Seth Parish, Zoe and Xander Broadus; and great-great grandchild, Baler Parish.
