SAN DIEGO CALIF. — Talma B. Williams, 95, passed away on December 20, 2009 in San Diego.
Funeral services will be held at the New Dublin Live Oak Cemetery in Dublin, Texas on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. Memorial services will be held at future dates to be announced in San Diego, CA and Springdale, Arkansas.
She was was born on May 29, 1914 in Slaton to William Jefferson and Susie Elizabeth Bellomy.
Talma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence “C.B.” Williams, and her daughter, Clara June Allard. She is survived by her sons Brent Williams and his wife Nancy of Melbourne, FL, Kenneth Williams and his wife Karen of Los Angeles, CA, and her daughter D. Elaine Woodson and her husband Chuck of San Diego, CA. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. Talma loved them all unconditionally.
Talma loved traveling and had traveled extensively all across the United States by car visiting 49 out of the 50 states. She and C.B. had traveled the world together and made friends everywhere they went. She was loved by everyone who met her for her warm smile, positive attitude and her wonderful sense of humor. She will be greatly missed but knowing she is in heaven with loved ones that have passed before her will help fill that void.
