Former resident recalls time aboard crippled cruise ship

Delette Gazaway was back to work Monday as a flight nurse with Air Evac in Brownwood after arriving home from what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation at sea.

Gazaway, a former resident of Stephenville, her two sisters and three cousins were aboard Carnival's Triumph when an engine fire crippled the cruise ship on the third day of a planned four-day cruise from Galveston to Mexico.
