Money from one of the largest drug busts in Erath County has begun trickling down to local law enforcement agencies.

The Erath County Sheriff's Office recently received $1,904.77 from the Drug Enforcement Agency from the sale of a vehicle used to deliver large amounts of marijuana and narcotics - and more could be on the way. The money is placed in a forfeiture account benefiting local child advocate and law enforcement agencies approved by county commissioners.
