Following a month-long investigation, two arrest warrants have been issued for a former Dublin coach.
Norberto Briseno, 27, is expected to turn himself in to the Erath County Jail today, according to Dublin Police Chief Lannie Lee.
Briseno is charged with two counts of improper relationship between an educator and student, a second-degree felony, Lee said, adding that both alleged victims are 15-year-old males.
Lee said the investigation began on July 11 following a parental complaint. Following the allegation, Lee said Dublin police sent Briseno's cell phone and computer for forensic testing.
"That forensic investigation returned enough evidence to substantiate the charges," Lee said Tuesday.
According to Dublin ISD Superintendent Shaun Barnett, Briseno resigned from his post as a junior high coach on the week of July 11.
Briseno is a Dublin resident and DISD graduate.
A second-degree felony is punishable by two-20 years in prison.
