With only two weeks remaining until the deadline for filing in the May election, potential candidates signing up for a slew of spots in Dublin are quiet - too quiet, some city officials say. One official with Dublin ISD could not recall a time when, this close to the deadline, no one was signed up to run.
With two seats up for grabs on the DISD board of trustees and neither current member planning to return, officials are hoping someone will step up to the plate.
