Tyson Nolen, the head varsity baseball coach and teacher at Lipan ISD, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two second-degree felonies - sexual assault of a child an improper relationship between and educator and a student. Both charges involve a 16-year-old Lipan High School student, according to Hood County District Attorney Rob Christian's office.
Hood County investigators went to the Lipan ISD Tuesday to question Nolen, 25, about allegations of an improper relationship with a student, Superintendent Dr. Cindy Edwards said. Following the questioning, Nolen was arrested, taken from the high school and booked into the Hood County Jail.
