After the third fire in less than a month claimed the home of yet another Erath County family, residents have once again stepped in and donated what they can to help. When fire consumed their home on New Year's Eve, destroying all of the Vazquez family's belongings, their neighbors and fellow residents came to their aid. People have come out in force to help, donating clothing for the four girls as well as their parents.
According to friends of the family, community members have donated enough clothes so that the entire family has what they need. Now, they are trying to find temporary housing. They still need furniture, kitchen appliances and utensils as well as bedroom items.
