The man accused of shooting and killing Jeff Sewalt over a debt is no stranger to trouble, according to court records.
Troy Doud, 46, who now sits in a cell in the Erath County Jail held on a $1 million bond, served time in prison in the early 1990s in Wyoming for kidnapping, assault and horse theft.
