Some people will do anything for a good cut of meat.

Such was the case more than two months ago when a brazen burglar, distinctly clad in plaid and driving a mini van, entered the Bull Nettle Sports Bar and Grill, located at the intersection of Harbin Drive and the South Loop in Stephenville, before walking away with meat.

He is being sought on burglary charges.

Erath County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help identifying the man, whose image was captured by surveillance cameras.

"On June 3, there was a burglary at the Bull Nettle," Lt. Doug McClammy with the Stephenville Police Department said. "The suspect was captured on video parking the white mini van in front of the restaurant's walk-in freezer, entering the freezer and stealing meat."

The suspect was driving a white Dodge Caravan and wearing plaid shorts, a light colored polo style shirt, sunglasses and a baseball cap.

"We are asking your readers for help in identifying the subject in this photo," McClammy said.
