When the Texas Legislature convenes Jan. 8, they will consider a long list of new bills, including one that would ban motorists from texting while behind the wheel.
Introduced by Rep. Tom Craddick (R-Midland), the bill would make it a criminal offense to read, write or send a text message while driving.
