It’s an “A” for Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville, according to The Leapfrog Group’s Hospital Safety Score rankings. The organization considered publicly available quality and safety measures and leadership commitment to creating a safe environment for patients to develop a letter grade for hospitals.
Nationally, about a third of hospitals were ranked “A,” with most hospitals earning a “C” grade. Only 52 hospitals in Texas and less than 800 nationwide earned an “A” grade.
