A clerk at the Rangler's on the Northwest Loop in Stephenville got quite a scare Friday night when a customer-turned-robber held the store at knifepoint.

Stephenville Police Lt. Don Miller said shortly before 7 p.m., a white male entered the store wearing a bandana, white shirt and shorts. He waited until there were no more customers in the store before grabbing the clerk by the shirt.

Miller said the suspect then produced a knife and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash; however, the clerk was not injured in the incident.

Police are looking for a white male, about five feet, six inches tall with shoulder-length brown hair. The suspect made off in a red sports car-type vehicle.
