Bentley - Starnes

Robin Starnes of Stephenville and J.W. Bentley of Missouri City were united in marriage in a formal ceremony at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas officiated by Reverend Jeff Hall.

The bride is the daughter of James and Sue Starnes of Stephenville. She is the granddaughter of Roy and Beth Thornton of Stephenville, and Bonnie and the late Orbin Starnes of Morgan Mill. Robin is a graduate of Stephenville High School, received her undergraduate degree from Baylor University, and her law degree from University of Texas School of Law.

The groom is the son of Jim and Anne Bentley of Galveston, and the grandson of Elizabeth (Lib) McBride of Galveston. J.W. received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Houston.

The bride was given away by her father, James Starnes.

The maid of honor was Kayla Starnes, sister of the bride.

The flower girl was Shanna Starnes, niece of the bride.

Ring bearers were Nathan Starnes, nephew of the bride; Cody Anderson, nephew of the groom; and Austin Anderson, nephew of the groom.

The best man was Craig Knappick, friend of the groom.

T.J. Thompson, friend of the groom, was a groomsman.

Ushers were Brent Starnes, brother of the bride; Brian Anderson, brother-in-law of the groom; and David Tuck, friend of the bride and groom.

Reception followed the ceremony at the Aldredge House on historic Swiss Avenue in Dallas.

After their honeymoon in the Mediterranean, the couple will reside in Dallas.
