The Middle Trinity Groundwater Conservation District (MTGCD) board of directors will hold a called meeting today to canvass the recent election, in which incumbent Ed Dittfurth ran for re-election against James Gray. According to Election Day results, Dittfurth won the rights to keep his seat by taking 64.12 percent of the votes.

In addition, the board will swear in all of the board’s six directors and elect officers for the upcoming year.

Finally, there will be recommendations and possible action on the progress of the real estate committee. The committee has been searching for a larger, more convenient property to relocate the MTGCD offices. Currently, the offices are located in Stephenville at the Town & County Bank Building.

The MTGCD will meet today at 1 p.m. at the Dublin City Council Chambers at 213 E. Blackjack.
