E-T Staff Report
The Dublin school board will meet Tuesday for their regular monthly meeting.
In addition to items of regular business, the board will discuss the continued employment and contracts of several district employees including teachers, coaches, administrators and professional staff, and also discuss applicants to the district’s superintendent opening.
The board received a total of 54 application packets, and is in the process of finding a replacement for Superintendent Roy Neff, who recently announced he would soon retire after more than two decades of service. Neff said he is not certain when the board will name the lone finalist for the position.
In addition, the board will consider a request regarding the employment of a part-time assistant superintendent of business and finance.
Meanwhile, the board will again address an energy audit, which the board approved at a recent meeting, and also hear further comments on the use of wind power for electricity within the district.
In hearing the district’s report, the board will discuss the “near final” expenditures for the new intermediate school and also discuss the “past and/or future actions” of the Erath County Appraisal District board of directors.
The board will meet at7 p.m. Tuesday in the Dublin High School library.
