The holiday spirit will come alive Sunday afternoon at new and historic homes in Stephenville as the Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council (CTFAC) hosts its annual Christmas Tour of Homes. The event will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday.

“I think, of course, it’s a great way to support the arts. It is a fundraiser for us, but it’s a great way to get a history of some of the homes and see how different people celebrate the holidays,” James Kimbel, CTFAC board member, said.

The tour will invite guests into the homes of Larry and Jan Branch, Jimmie and Shelly Fair, Tommy and Charlotte Keith, Arden and Sherri Knight and Alisa Terrell Starbird. The Fine Arts Council and River North Gallery will also be open Sunday, boasting of live music and holiday gifts.

“There will be unique gifts,” Kimbel said. “There is a photography exhibit, which is beautiful and we’ve remodeled the gallery so it’s a great time to see that.”

Mary LeBus, a harpist, will provide live music and gifts from vendors, including Kate Leach, Hank Burden, Brian Drake Studio and Gallery, Kathy Geffre and Sandy Parker will also be available.

Tickets for the Tour of Homes are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at First Financial Bank, Greenmaker Nursery, Home Place at Ace, Scott’s Flowers on the Square and Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council. Admission to the River North Gallery will be free.
