With sunny skies finally expected to reappear Saturday, those with cabin fever might want to consider heading to Dublin, where a holiday arts and crafts show will take place.

The free event, featuring an array of vendors selling candles, knitted items, jewelry, hand-painted note cards, specialty coffees, rustic furniture and much more, will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. inside the recreation building at Dublin City Park.

Event coordinator Jeannine Hambrick said she is excited about the show and hopes for a large turnout.

“We wanted to provide a venue for crafters from the surrounding area to market their arts and crafts and for community members to come together for a fun day of fellowship and shopping,” Hambrick said.

The show is sponsored by Cottonwood Baptist Women’s Ministry as an outreach activity. Proceeds from the event will go toward a Navajo ministry and a trip planned in December to bring Christmas boxes to Navajo families. For more information, call Hambrick at (254) 968-2048.
