The annual Dublin Christmas parade will get rolling at 6 p.m. Thursday.
This year's parade will feature a variety of floats from civic clubs and other organizations spreading holiday cheer. The parade will begin on Mesquite Street and travel south down Patrick Street.
Santa Clause will join in the fun by taking pictures with children in Wright Historical Park where the parade will end. The Chamber of Commerce will sell warm food and holiday treats and the Lions Club Christmas tree will be lit, signaling the start of the Christmas season in the Irish Capital of Texas.
