State Rep. Sid Miller (R-Stephenville) and Community Development Director Betty Chew will present reports to the Stephenville City Council tonight.

Miller will report on the recently ended 2007 legislative session, while Chew will present the “Community Development Annual Report.”

The two are scheduled to make separate presentations when the council meets at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

Also tonight, the council is scheduled to:

Hold a public hearing on the potential rezoning from R-1 “Single-Family Residential District” to R-3 “Multiple-Family Residential District” Lot 25, Block 4, College Heights Addition, known as 1021 West Shirley Street. Consider approval of Ordinance No. 2007, rezoning from R-1 “Single-Family Residential District” to R-3 “Multiple-Family Residential District” Lot 25, Block 4, College Heights Addition, known as 1021 West Shirley Street. Consider adopting Resolution No. 2007, suspending the July 30, 2007 Effective Date of the Proposal by Atmos Energy Corp. to Implement Interim Grip Rate Adjustments. Consider approval to Donate Old Cell Phones, Consider approval for EMS Local Projects Grant, Consider approval of bid award for 2007 Water Line Replacement Project, Go into executive session to discuss: (1) 109 square feet of Lot 3, Block 129, City Addition, City of Stephenville, Erath County, Texas; (2) 1.55 acres out of Lot 1, Block 19, South Side Addition, Stephenville, Erath County, Texas; (3) Lots 1, 2, Block 58, and Lot 1, Block 71, City Addition, Stephenville, Erath County, Texas; and (4) regarding the city’s vacant finance director position.
