Important public meetings ahead
Believe the city needs a new Rec Hall, a new library, a new swimming pool, or a new Senior Citizen Center? Believe the city just needs to fix up existing buildings? Or believe the city doesn’t need to do anything?
Now you have the chance to have a say.
At 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, at the Stephenville Senior Citizen Center, the firm of Brinkley Sargent & Associates will hold a public meeting to discuss the need for a new recreational hall, senior citizen center and swimming pool.
Then, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, at the Senior Citizen Center, the firm of Hidell & Associates will hold a public meeting to discuss whether a new public library should be built or the existing library should be relocated.
We encourage residents to attend these meetings. The Stephenville City Council wants — and needs — to hear from you.
