Cole - Lewis

Sheena Lewis of Belton and Gene W. Cole III of Junction were united in marriage in an informal, double ring ceremony officiated by William Schibler at the home of Cathy Ramage in Hico on May 26, 2007 at 6:30 p.m.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph E. Lewis and Donna M. Lewis of Little River. She graduated from Belton High School in 2001 and Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004. Sheena graduated from Tarleton State University with a Masters of Criminal Justice degree in 2006, and is currently employed with Koehler Law Firm, P.C. in Meridian.

The groom is the son of Gene Cole, Jr. and Patricia Cole of Junction. He graduated from Junction High School in 2002. Gene graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007.

The bride was given away by her father, Joseph E. Lewis. She wore a white strapless gown with small blue flowers imprinted on the dress and carried a round bouquet comprised of white roses with little blue and dark blue flowers dispersed throughout.

The bridesmaids were Heather Howard of Dublin, and Amanda Gutierrez of Belton. They wore strapless blue gowns and carried small round bouquets of yellow roses with small blue flowers throughout.

Athena Dupree, of Little River, niece of bride, was the flower girl.

The groomsmen were Ben Cole of Houston, Glenn Cole of Junction, and Luke Hyatt of Junction.

Following the wedding, there was a reception at the home of Cathy Ramage in Hico.

After their honeymoon at the Almost Home Bed and Breakfast in Hico, the couple will reside in Jonesboro.

A rehearsal dinner was given at High Oaks Ranch in Jonesboro by the groom’s parents before the wedding.
